Catherine (1) was the last-known child born to parents William (1) Hogger and his wife Mary (nee) Canham. She was christened on December 11th 1772 at Brent Eleigh, Suffolk [PR: Cosford DB].
She married Peter (1) Cundy on July 7th 1800 at Brent Eleigh [PR: Cosford DB]. Peter (1) was born around 1775 and was occupied variously as a coachman and farmer.
Peter (1) was buried at age "57" at Brent Eleigh on March 9th 1832 [PR: Cosford DB].
The 1841 Census finds Catherine (1) at age "68" living with some of her children in Brent Eleigh where she was occupied as a farmer. Also in her household was a girl Kerenhappuck Hayward aged "7" whose connection is currently unknown.
The 1851 Census finds Catherine (1) as a widow aged "78" living with her daughter Mary (1) Cundy and son Peter (2) Cundy in Brent Eleigh where she was occupied as a farmer of 15 acres.
The 1861 Census finds her aged "88" and still farming 15 acres in Brent Eleigh. Living with her, again, were Mary (1) and Peter (2), and also her widowed daughter-in-law Mary Moss Cundy aged "50".
She died at age "95" in March 1868 [Death Index: Cosford 4a 267, 1868 (March)] and was buried at Brent Eleigh on March 27th [PR: Cosford DB].
