Brief biography

George (4) Livesey was born to parents John (5) Livesey and his wife Eliza Ann Turner [Birth Index: Salford 8d 128, 1882 (Sept)].

He was christened at the Sacred Trinity Church on July 12th 1882, when his parents were living at 23, Wood Street in Salford. The register describes his father as a hawker.

The 1891 Census finds him at age 8 living with his parents at 24, Wood Street.

The 1901 Census finds him at age 18, unmarried and still living with his parents at 24, Wood Street. He was occupied as a hooker in a print warehouse.

The 1911 Census finds him at age "29", unmarried and living with his widowed mother Eliza Ann at 131, Lower Broughton Road in Salford. He was occupied as a jobbing warehouseman, working with cotton cloth.

He may have married soon after this Census [Marriage Index: Manchester 8d 437, 1911 (June)].

Nothing more is currently known of him.
