Samuel George (2) Livesey was born in Salford around early 1901 to parents Samuel George (1) Livesey and his wife Frances Ann Stead. The GRO reference to his birth is [Birth Index: Salford 8d 140, 1901 (March)].

The 1901 Census finds him at age "3 months" living with his parents at 4, Tamworth Street in Salford.

The 1911 Census finds him at age "10" living with his mother and siblings at 36, Granville Street in Ordsall, Salford.

In 1923 he was still living with his mother at 36, Granville Street [Electoral Register for Ordsall: Spring 1923].

He married Clementina (nee) Hobbs in 1928 [Marriage Index: Salford 8d 754, 1928 (June)]. She was born on April 25th 1903 [Birth Index: Salford 8d 153, 1903 (June)].

The 1939 Register for England and Wales finds them living at 9, Brassington Street in Salford where he was occupied as a mix preparer and weighman in the manufacturing of abrasives. Also present were their son Samuel George (3), attending school, and daughter Rose (1).

He died in 1952 [Death Index: Salford 10f 487, 1952 (Dec)] and is commemorated at the Weaste Cemetery in Salford on the same gravestone as his parents are. The gravestone cites the date of his death as November 28th 1952 and his age as "51". The epitaph describes him as "husband and dad".
