Darlene Mary Woodhurst was born to parents Walter Willie Woodhurst and his wife Velma Mae Hopke. Relatives report that she was born at Perry Township in Ralls County, Missouri on November 3rd 1923.
On September 13th 1947 she married Jimmie B. Bannister at Hannibal, Missouri.
Jimmie was born in Monroe City, Missouri on September 23rd 1925 to parents Thomas L. Bannister and his wife Laura Belle (nee) Brown. He served in the US Army during WW2 and worked for 37 years at the North American Refractory in Farber, Missouri.
Darlene died at Farber on August 24th 1985. She was mentioned in the obituary in 1999 of her sister Margaret Birdella.
Jimmie later remarried to Patsy (nee Shoemate) Blake. He died at the Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on July 27th 2002, having been a resident of Mexico township. His obituary was published on July 29th in The Hannibal Courier-Post and gives no indication that he ever produced any children. He was buried at Farber Cemetery on July 30th.
