He is described as a bachelor aged 27 and occupied as a french polisher, and she as a spinster aged 25. His father is described as a deceased carman and hers, Jeffrey George Tyler, as a labourer. Their place of residence is given as 48, Clarence Road in Hackney. The witnesses were James Richard Abbott and James Andrews, these being the husbands of George Albert (2)'s sisters Susannah May and Jane Maud, respectively. Clarence Road is where Richard William (3)'s step-brother Richard (1) was living in 1921.
Lilian Elsie was born on December 4th 1899 in Bethnal Green [Birth Index: Bethnal Green 1c 131, 1900 (March)].
A relative reports that George Albert (2) lived in Virginia Road, Cambridge Heath and then at Birchington House in Pembury Road (both in Hackney); he died in 1940 aged 41 in hospital from a bronchial-related disease [Death Index: Hackney 1b 747, 1940 (March)], just a few hours after his first and only child was born; some relatives were with him at the time and he knew that his wife had given birth, but he probably died before seeing the baby.
