Isabella Woodhurst was born at Sittingbourne in 1863 [Birth Index: Milton 2a 639, 1863 (Sept)] of parents Daniel Woodhurst and Priscilla Hales. She may have been known familiarly as Ann.
The 1871 Census finds her at age "7" living with her parents at 20, Springfield Road in Tunbridge, Kent.
The 1881 Census finds her at age "17" living with her parents at 210, Shortlands Road, South Side in Sittingbourne, Kent.
In 1884 she emigrated with her mother and siblings to America, sailing from Liverpool on the City of Montreal and arriving at Michigan on July 26th 1884.
She married Levi Wing in Ingham County, Michigan on August 6th 1884 [IGI: Batch M518453]. Since this date follows so soon after her arrival in Michigan, it may be that she had met Levi during or before her voyage.
Descendants' reports state that she was born on August 3rd 1863, produced at least the two children listed below and died on August 21st 1929.
