The 1901 Census her at age "8" living with her parents at 56, Chatham Place in Hackney.
She married James Andrews in 1921 [Marriage Index: Hackney 1b 836, 1921 (Dec)]. The GRO index reference inverts her forenames as "Maud Jane", and in adult life she was known as "Maud" within her family. After raising her children she worked full-time as a dress-maker. She lived in Theydon Road and then in Averly Road (both in Upper Clapton).
Nothing more is currently known of her.
A relative reports that Leslie P. Andrews was born with a hole in his heart. During a period as a baby when his mother was in hospital he was cared for by his aunt Emily. Joan M. Andrews married Alan Rogers by whom she produced three children - Sally born around 1952, then another daughter and then a son.
