Sarah Tallulah Norrell was born to parents Elizabeth (1) Woodhurst and Stephen Elmore Brooks Norrell. She was born in Greenwood, Abbeville, SC on January 11th 1863 [OAB: Page 207].
She joined the Abbeville Methodist Church in 1875, married William Henry Scott in September 1876, and was then 'dismissed' to join the Presbyterian Church [OAB: Page 207].
She and her husband were buried at the Trinity Street Episcopal Church whose records state that she died of smallpox on March 6th 1905; she had been a spinner at the Cedar Springs Mill in Abbeville [relative's report].
